Prabowo's Team Wants TGPF to Examine Independent Case Cases

Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, Coordinator of the Spokesperson for the National Winning Body Prabowo- Subianto-Sandiaga Salahudin Uno claimed that the public hoped that a joint fact-finding team (TGPF) would be made to examine the case of the Baswedan novel independently. However, the team will not be under the kind of police just made by National Police Chief Gen. Tito Karnavian.
"What is clear is the insistence of civil society from the beginning, handling the attack on the novel through an independent TGPF, not under the police," said Dahnil when contacted on Friday (01/11/2019).
Dahnil said that the public hopes that there would be an Independent TGPF because they could not believe the police to be able to declare the perpetrators of hard watering to the novel. Even today, there is no solution that is able to satisfy many parties.
"Because from the beginning there was a distrust for handling this case. that's also what Mas Novel and his friends have repeatedly said, "said Dahnil.
Even so, Dahnil stated that the Prabowo-Sandi camp was prejudiced about making TGPF. He did not have the desire to call the team made in order to help the presidential candidate incumbent to face the Presidential Election debate.
It is known, KPU held a debate on the first presidential election entitled Human Rights, Corruption, Terrorism and Law held on January 17. Meanwhile, TGPF was just made on January 8 last.
